MARC Train is the most convenient and affordable way to travel between Baltimore , Washington , D.C. and beyond. MARC operates weekdays only on the Penn, Camden and Brunswick Lines. MARC connects with five Metrorail stations, including Rockville , Silver Spring and Union Station on the Red Line, Greenbelt on the Green Line and New Carrollton on the Orange Line. The 33-stop Light Rail service operates at 10- to 30-minute intervals from Hunt Valley, through Downtown Baltimore, to Cromwell Station/Glen Burnie. The 14-station Baltimore Metro Subway operates every eight minutes during morning and afternoon peak hours, 10 minutes during the day, 11 minutes weekday evenings and 15 minutes Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
